How long does it take to sign up?

Every business day we process the new orders and add the clients with approved credit cards to our telephone switch. If an order is sent on Friday after 6 pm, the account will be provisioned on the following Monday.

 
What do I need to sign up?

You will need a credit card and a telephone number to sign up for GlobalTel services.

 
Will my credit card be charged when I sign up?

NO! All credit cards are authorized for validity. This is only an authorization, not a charge. The authorization amount will be placed on hold for five to ten business days. This is the limit amount requested by the customer.

 
What is the Authorization Limit Amount and how is it determined?

All credit cards are authorized for validity. This is only an authorization, not a charge. The authorization amount will be placed on hold for five to ten business days. This is the limit amount requested by the customer. The authorization limit amount is an estimated usage amount for each two-week billing period. We will authorize your credit card for the total limit requested to check the availability of funds. All clients are responsible for any call charges regardless of the limit requested.

 
How will I receive my account information?

You will receive all new account information via e-mail within approximately 24 hours after we receive all necessary documents. If an order is sent on Friday after 6 pm, the account will be provisioned on the following Monday.

 
What are the necessary documents to sign up for GlobalTel service?

In order to sign up for GlobalTel service using your credit card you must fax (1) Photo copy of both sides of the signed credit card OR a recent credit card billing statement showing name, billing address and credit card number. (2) Photo copy of driver license or passport. These requirements are in place to protect cardholders and to avoid fraud against GlobalTel. You may also send these documents by email.

  
Are there any sign up fees?

There are no sign up fees.

 
Are there any monthly fees?

The first two accounts are free. There is no monthly charge if you do not use your accounts. There is an additional $1.00 per month fee for all lines after the first two.

 
When and How will I be charged for my calls?

GlobalTel has two billing periods per month: The 1st through the 15th and 16th until the end of each month. GlobalTel will automatically charge your credit card. Your credit card will be charged for completed calls only. Calls made between the 1st and the 15th will be charged to your credit card on the 16th day of each month. Calls made between the 16th and the last day of the month will be charged on the 1st day of the following month.
